ive been trying to decide if its worth the money to spend my next couple paychecks on the livewire or just get xcal 2 but i think you pushed me over the other side of the fence
cause i know ill be running some f/i eventually and i would end up paying the same or more if i had to get xcal 2 and all the gauges pods and pilars + installation maybe. so yeah
i see 3 lights on it the power, the shift light, and whats the other one?

yep...three lights...the top one is your shift light(yellow), middle is your alert light(red)...basically alerts you to any problems your vehicle may be experiencing, then theres your power light on the bottom(blue.) The whole device is the size of a little more that your hand horitontally and a bout as wide as your hand. So far ive had no problems with it and am happy with the money spent. i ALWAYS get people asking what it is when they see it or drive beside me, and it really does change your performance... if youre really used to your stock car and its capabilities, then youll tihnk you bought a brand new car with a little more uhmph!

friggin amazing....
howd u get the gauges blue, was it that mycolor thing that comes frm factory? r the lights on the radio blue too? can u get an aftermarket one? of install one urself from ford? the sct livewire looks great. its an upgrade from the gauges, ur totally right. does it block ur view at all? sometimes the rear view mirror covers blocks my view sometimes and im not short, im 6'0.
yea im 6' 1", but it really doesnt obstruct my view...again the window mout is pretty nifty, just a lever action suction cup with 2 pivot points. I tried putting it on the center of my dash but it really does obstruct my view in that position....off in the corner like i have it is really nicely set at eye level, and only takes up about 6 in of space on my windshield. I think the hardest part was running my connection wire up through my dash and through a very very small hole, almost smaller than the jack it uses to connect to the programmer...youll need a piece of stiff wire, a screwdriver to "push" foam and your dash plastic away, and some pliers to carefully pull it through....some patients is also a very good idea because it can be quite annoying. It can be done though. Just zip tie your excess wire somewhere under your dash and plug in. Another way that i thought about trying and could potentially be easier, would be running it through your small vent on the drivers side. Hard to explain but its just the little 4 rectangle vent on the edge of your dash above your ac vents. you can see it on my profile pics directly below the livewire and the circular ac vents. I believe theres a hose under your dash that you can tap through and run your wire through there...depending on that where you want your programmer to sit.

my guages are the mycolor guages from ford that came with the car.... you might ask your dealer but im not sure if they do sell them aftermarket. but make sure and ask your dealer, its a really nice detail that always gets passengers attention...blue looks really nice cuz it matches my livewire, which blue is the only color livewire comes in. and the radio color is still green...but thats a good idea that i think ford should look into

Im sorry about that. Basically we just cut the same piping, 2.5 inches I believe, and cut the necessary indentations into the two other pipes and welded together. Im not sure as to the exact length of the pipe but just so it connects the two. As for the MyColor option, I am trying to find out how I did it. I got it like a year and a half ago so I'm trying to remember exactly how I did it. I know it was tough and everyone was saying it was impossible.
