Default 2006 mustang v6 exhaust

i just purchased a 2006 v6 mustang automatic. i just purcahsed a roush hood scoop for the look and i am looking to get an exhaust around christmas. im kinda car challenged so i was wondering if anyone could help me. i would like to get the flowmaster american thunder dual exhaust. i have heard good things. i also have heard that i need an h pipe? is this what i need and if so what else do i need. thanks

You'll either need to get something that'll split the existing Y into two (JBA has a nice setup), or a true H, which will require some additional fabrication. Will also need some additional hangers for the driver side.

You can do it how I am.

I'm getting the JBA H-pipe setup with my American Thunders.

I just ordered my JBA H-pipe system, getting the American Thunders in about a month. Need Christmas money ...its not close enough yet to get it now so...
