So I was looking under the hood and after a good 5 months my air filter from my CAI loks a little dirty, so what's the best way to clean them? Also do they ned to be oiled? I remember someone that had a K&N had to oil his. Mine is a C&L so not sure if it's the same thing.

Anyone got any Tips or Ideas?

Same deal. Get a K&N cleaning kit. Clean as directed, let dry, and reoil. I have two filters so I don't have any downtime while one is drying.

yep.... i got the k&N recharger kit, comes with everything you need..and slt's got it all thought out...haha nice plan

Just be aware that many people get impatient and do not let the filter dry completely, or they over-oil it.
Towards the end of the 50k the filter would be getting pretty dirty and definitely wouldn't have as good of airflow as new.
But, a 50k dirty filter is still better than an over-oiled one.
I just bought a newfilter at 35k, even though the manufacturer recommends cleaning at 50k.
Relatively inexpensive.
Next time I'm gonna look into getting a blue filter, for cosmetic reasons.
