You can get a nice set of Flowmaster or Magnoflow mufflers and those both sound pretty good. Violators I hear are decent set up too ask Stang98 about those he loves em. If its loud your looking for pull off your cats. That will make it nice and loud although you will have to pass smog depending on what state your living in. California smog is a *****.....

I would say keep the cats on. Its hard to pass emissions with no cats in mostly every state. Flowmaster 40 series true dual setup sounds pretty good on a V6. I ran that set up on mine. The sound was pretty deep and aggressive. Very loud at WOT and cruising, but not so much at rev.

Ita all a matter of preference. Listen to some clips on youtube and find which one you like best. I don't see why they wouldn't fit your v6.

If you want loud, take your muffler off and straight pipe it. Either that or get some SLP Loudmouths, which is ideally the same thing as straight piping it. Cops wont like it much though...

well do u think the slp loudmouths are louder than the american thunders because of the design of the muffler round instead of boxy

I know for a fact that the Loudmouths will be louder than the Flowmasters. The Flowmasters will have a better sound, but the Loudmouths will undoubtedly be louder. The Flowmaster is an actual muffler, while the Loudmouths are ideally a straight pipe.

its all a matter of preferance. Try and listen to some cars with a similar setup. Or its down to trial and error. IMO the flows give a very nice deep sound and attract 50% less cops

SLPs are definitely loud, but too raspy...

My suggestion...

Pypes True Duals with Street Pro mufflers.
97dB at cold idle.
