Martinez is spot on. Keep the cats on your car now the few extra horses of high flow isn't worth the cost, also they have a pitchy sound, and changing cats will void your warrenty (if that concerns you). And get some 3 1/2 - 4" chrome or stainless tips (under $50 most places, the shop should have a selection(Also the rolled chrome tips are very sharpppp!!!).
So heres what you say. Keep the cats, put me a h pipe in ru the pipes set the hangers and put my flowmasters on with some chrome tips.
Also make sure he doesn't hang the left side to tight or else it will vibrate terribly, right side shouldn't be a problem since he'll use the stock hanger.
You dont need to get any tips, if you are talking about the dual flowmaster american thunders that I also have on my mustang, they come with 4 inch polished tips that look GREAT!! I dont know what else you would want. As for the cats, keep them stock. Makes no difference and still passes smog. Just have him cut the bumper, put the exhausts with the hangers, andweld on the h-pipe. You'll be good to go with an increase in power and a nice rumble.

There u r!! so wat exactly do u have? i know u have american thunders and a custom h-pipe but wat else do u need? i told him to make me a custom h-pipe, but idk HE GOT ALL COMPLICATED ON MY ASS! is that all i need? where did u buy them from?
I did not buy any additional part. My muffler guy was able to fabricate the hangers and the h-pipe. All he has to do is just use some of the excess piping that is the same diameter and cut the necessary cuts in the two pipes running all the way back and then welding that h to the other two. No complex issues should be involved, simple process. It should be right where the Y is on the old one.

No tail pipes or tips but you do need midpipes. Those are the pipes that run from the muffler to the cats so of course you need mid pipes. I got my mufflers from summit racing. They were the cheapest ones.

The vibrations and rattling through the car only occur during the droning areas which is I believe 1700 - 2000 rpms but is not horrible. That can be expected by all the mufflers, and the sound is so enjoyable that you will not regreat it.
Personally, on the driver side there is a particle loose that keeps rattling. I called magnaflow and they sent me a new set and I am going to have those installed tomorrow. It is no big deal and I have been the only one that has noticed the sound but other than that you will love it.

Probably...haven't tried it myself...but once again let make me make clear that I love the sound and have no complaints. If you want that deep nice sound you wont have an issue with it either but if it is gonna give you an issue, you can put the dampeners on just to be safe. Wouldnt change my setup for the world though.

the thing is i kno spanish!!! and i tried speaking to him in spanish but he would answer me in his broken english. w/e tho, next time ill talk to someone else. i kno they do amazing jobs tho, ive seen my friends car. like i said i support immigrants fully and totally. theyre the ones doing the jobs we dont wanna do and for a fraction of the price. the came to this great country to better themselves and everyone has to start somewhere. but this thread isnt about illegal immigration or the shop. its based on the questions: do i need to buy cats of any kind? tailpipes of any kind? can i use the cats on my car already? isnt it if i bring the a/t and they make the h-pipe thats all i need?
I know we don't want to perpetuate this, but I can't resist. You won't be singing that same tune when one of these immigrants steals your identity and then drains your social security benefits and your left eating cat food when you're 70 years old 'cause the U.S. Gov't says "oooops, our bad, better luck next time". I'm Federal law enforcement, trust me when I say you obviously don't realize all the implications of illegal immigration...and I digress.

Haha, I was trying to pull this thread back on track with the actual question. Since the discussion of Immigration is a very slippery slope and can be as stongly argued from both sides. But, if you want a retort then here's mine.
First i will give you my background and assure you that I do not speak of all Latinos or any other immigrants for that matter in this country.
I am a First Generation Latino. My mother and father we're both illegal until their paper work finally (after 10 years) went through. I spent four years in the United States Marine Corp, and i am a republican (doesn't mean i support bush). Now, I am at odds with a lot of my fellow Latinos over the immigration issue because my views are more conservative than most.
Now lets get into my 2 cents (which may not even be worth it). You have to understand that countries that people are immigrating from (whether legally or illegaly) are most likely worse than the US. Since most of the issue comes when talking about mexican immigrants i will stick with them. Mexico has been known or it's political corruption since for ever. Can you blame a person for wanting to leave to make better for them selves and thier families when you have political groups threatening people for votes? No, you can't. These people need to go somewhere else, and south america isn't much better if not worse the farther south you go.
I do understand there are many immigrants that come to the US to leech off the system and drain our social economy. I have had to deal with a few and i do not like it (one of the reasons i'm a republican). Now, I am fully in aggreance that if an immigrant (legal) needs these social services to begin to make their life better then by all means do it. The problem arises when the media and politicians only show the light of day to the ones that are abusing the system. It makes the hard working immigrants look horrible.
So, I'm going to close by saying. I understand that opinions are opinions. But close minded ingnorance is uncalled for. Sure it's your opinion but seeing all sides of a story and forming and opinion from all information is a more valued opinion than any other.
