Default 2006 Mustang HD Strut Mounts HELP HELP HELP

I need some help and some answers. I dont know much about Mustangs but I do know how much I like them. I've Recently Added Some 18" Black Cobra Wheels and Dropped the Car about 1 1/2". I am about to replace the Front Shocks and Rear Struts. I was told by a friend of mine who knows about cars more then i do, that i will need to replace the STRUT MOUNTS with some Heavy Duty onesbecasue i'v dropped the car and added eibach springs. I was wondering if this was true. I would also like to know if HD STRUT MOUNTS (Steeda Retail for $299) are the same thing as or would serve the same purpose as Caster Camber Plates. I know that camber plates are used to align the tires but can they be used as Strut Mounts as well? Any Kind of Info that you provie Will HELP OUT ALOT. Thanks for taking the Time to Read THIS...My main point are DO I NEED THE HD STRUT MOUNTS or Do i need Both Strut Mounts and Camber Plates for the Wheel Alignment?

They aren't 100% mandatory but are a good idea. I picked up a set of heavy duty adjustable plates from StangSuspension.com Camber Plates - For 05-08 Mustangs - StangSuspension.com

It does allow adjustment for some positive camber (1 degree I believe)to compensate for lowering. If you need more, you can always throw on a set of camber bolts.

The nice thing about the HD plates (other than the adjustability) is that they reduce noise over the stock mounts (which are a little flimsy and technically only designed for one-time use).
