hello,
i just bought a 2008 v6 premium mustang with the pony package from my local ford dealer however it did not come with the ABS/TC package, and the dealer would not install the option for liability purposes, if i were to order the parts (control module, sensors, etc) from the ford dealer would an autoshop be able to install the parts or is adding the ABS/TC system not possible if the vehicle did not come with it?

Are you sure it didn't come with it? Look on the center dash thing for a thing that says TC. If you push it, it should light up as "OFF." I thought all the newer cars had TC/ABS

Check ABS by going like.. 50 then slamming on the brakes You should get some pedal kickback

im sure it doesnt have it, i have a plastic cover where the TC button should be and it didnt have the additional safety package. however since the mustangs are set up for it shouldnt i be able to add the parts to make it have ABS?

Well.. Yeah... Any car can be set up with it... But... I woulda thought that the newer car would have it... =\

You don't want TC, but ABS is a plus

its a pain that i always have to turn off the TC but when it rains im thankful i have it... just the other day some leaves were covering an area i was turning at while it was raining and wow those f#$%ers are slippery, i woulda spun if it weren't for my TC

so marshall series, you said any car can be set up with it, so it is possible to add to my car?

I'm still stuck on it not coming with it. 05-07 I thought it was a standard feature on the premiums and only the deluxe base version (like mine) didn't come with it. I just pulled open another tab while I was typing this and went to the Ford website. ABS is now an option on all v6 Mustangs. First time I've seen standard features become fewer on new years models.

If your car falls under the "Any Car" category, then yes
