Default Problem with 2010 Mustang GT Premium automatic transmission

Hi, everyone! I have a 2010 Mustang GT premium automatic, and I've noticed a slight whine in the transmission as the car accelerates. When it reaches a certain point, the whine stops. The dealership says they contacted a Ford engineer, who said this is the normal operating noise of this model of the Mustang. Has anyone else experienced this? My car has a little over 11,000 miles. The dealership has replaced the car's drive shaft because they said something was wrong with it, and although the transmission whine is much better, it's still present.

Thank you!

Hi and welcome to AFM
I have to agree...its normal. My wifes 2006 V6 car has done it from day one....I know you have a different tranny but Id still say its normal....however keep us informed.

My 2006 GT may do it but its so loud I cant hear it
change out your mufflers..it will go away

I have an 05 GT - does the same thing. It sounds like a supercharger:kooky:

I've had my '06 GT since December of 2005 and it has done it the entire time i've owned it. Never had any problems. Laguna65 is right, it sounds like a supercharger.
