Default License Plate Backing Plate

Just moved to Ohio and need to get a front license plate now for my 2007 GT Coupe. Anyone know what I can put under the license plate so it isn't against the paint on the bumper? Any backing plates out there?

Ideas? Vendors? Thanks.

I got my 94 from Ohio. The previous owner had thin self adhesive foam strips on the back of the plate and there wasn't a mark on the bumper when the plate was removed.

you can buy a mount that bolts on the underside of the bumper, so you will never see the holes unless you look under the car, and it holds the plate about 1/2 inch off the front bumper without it ever touching the visible surfaces.

Or do like i did on my car, i got some of that double sided tape you use to mount those plastic things over your windows to keep rain out, its really sticky, but peels off in 1 piece, and leaves no residue, then just bend the plate to the shape of the bumper, and apply 1 row of tape on the top and 1 on the bottom of the plate. Ive had mine on like that for 2 months now without any problems, and its still stuck on great.
