Okay! I'm on a very tight budget and want the most bang for the buck performance. I have looked at turbos and the d.o.b. system and I'm leaning toward purchasing the turbo kit from on3performance. I was wondering if any one has this kit installed or had any knowledge of it. I know the turbos are not the best in the world but those can be upgraded. The hot and cold side tubing looks done real nice and for the price 1990.00 you could afford an upgraded turbo. Please any input would help. Thank you.

For turbo, they are the king of cheap. If your looking for a little nicer kit, get ahold of Jeremy at S&H Performance. Their customer service is first rate. Another good turbo company is Zimmers Performance Fabrication.

My kit is from Turbohorsepower. It's a bit out of the budget you mentioned, but I will caution you to leave room in your budget for the extras. Make sure the kit comes with everything you need ie: oil lines, silicone, clamps, injectors, fuel pump upgrade, colder spark plugs, tune. A lot of these things may or may not be included and can jack up the costs big time. Not sure how prices are where you are, but if you have to buy a flash tuner and get a dyno tune may as well plan on $700-ish just for that. An intercooler, labor for the install (unless you do it) and gauges to monitor the system will all run you even more.
To give you an idea the base price for my kit is $3,999. Add on intercooler, fuel pump upgrade, injectors, and radiator overflow relocation kit, and the 2007+ coolant crossover upgrade and it was up to $5,500. Add in the gauges, CMCV delete plates, spark plugs, and misc hardware then the two trips to the dyno it took to get everything ironed out and I was easily $7,000 invested. So as you can see I ended up spending almost double the cost of the kit. Now some things were extra, but not much tbh. I went with a GT500 pump instead of the boost a pump as well as 60 lb injectors instead of the 40 lbs that came with the kit which jacked the price up a little.
My honest $0.02 is plan ahead and leave wiggle room for extras that pop up and if you can't afford that yet then be patient, save up, and do it right the first time around. You'll be glad you did. I saved for 2.5 years to get my stuff, installed it all myself, and couldn't be happier.

01 Black GT, traded up for 05 Black GT: California Dream hood, intercooled Turbo Horsepower Single kit (61mm) with custom dyno tune from ForceFed Performance (limited at 5.5 lbs for now), GT500 twin pump setup, 60 lb injectors, Steeda CMCV deletes, Autolite HT0's, American Thunder axel backs, Hurst comp pro shifter.

Thanks for the input like I stated the kit is 1990.00. It includes everything except the injectors, spark plugs, and guages. I have a tuner and am aware of the fact that I need a dyno tune. If you want you could look at the kit yourself @ on3performance.com.

Shifter87 did a write up on the on3turbo kit. When I read it, I was thinking "f@ck that sh1t!". That guy had fitment problems and other issues. For me,'if I were pinching pennies and trying to haul a$$ the DOB manifold with a GT500 supercharger is what I would do. I've got an M112 blower and it does decent. It's better than the M90 Roush, but the GT500 is the bigger M122 and its got more headroom than the other 2. I would get in contact with sqidd. He knows his sh1t and his product is beautiful.
