What's the widest tire that will fit on my 2007 mustang gt? It has roush 18"x10" wheels. I have 275'S in the front. I'm thinking either 285 or 295?

Most likely 295/35/18 if I remember correctly

You can put most 295's on a 10" rim.

You can smash a 315 under the car with a 11" rim.

Great info thanks! So a 295/45/18 would have no problem fitting? Especially the 45 part?
You need to check the specific tire manufacturers rim width recommendations. All 295's are not created equal.

Nothing I can think of . . . other than there being room for 285/35's on 18x11's up front (and in Michelin PSS the tires end up being about 300mm wide at their widest point that way).

Offset gets kind of critical and you'll likely have under 1.5 mm strut clearance (4.5mm sounds like a ton of room to have).

I'm running pilot super sports 285/35/18 all around on 18x10's. The super sports measure up to almost 290!

I've got about 4.5mm between the strut and the tire, so it's really really tight.

This is on a rim with a +45 offset.

With less offset, or spacers, you could probably go quite a bit bigger.

p.s. only a very mild increase in tramlining with 285's on the front. Can't believe the grip the car has now. These cars need more tire!
