So about a year ago, my bumper got hit from behind by a tailgater ...I had it replaced at the dealer ($500 total) and was happy. 5 days later, another numbnuts hits me in the tail and puts a dime size nick, dead center on the top seam. Well, I didn't need another bumper and decided to wait....
Foolish man that I am, I am doing this myself. In my youth I did body work and was good at it...still am...I just SUCK at painting
Anyway, watched 100 youtube videos and am in progress.
Used 2K Primer
I have matching paint (in cans that I ordered - HP White)
I also have 2K clearcoat
and a mask
Please pray for me...LOL
Finished the primer last night (3 coats) and sanded this morning ...very smooth...like I said, body work I can do - note the overkill on masking the car...
