Hidden/cool features on our cars...

What are some hidden features of our 2005-2009 Mustangs?

I was intrigued when I got mine a couple weeks ago how the windows would slightly lower raise when the door would open/shut.

Another example, recalibrating the throttle by turning the key in the on position and pressing down to the floor ( total 3 seconds ) then release for 3 seconds.

Any other cool features? Such as looking at extra engine specs on the cluster display, etc.?

1- Turn the ignition to ON without starting the engine(dashboard lights come on and chime sounds).
2- After the chime stops, smoothly depress the gas pedal to the floor while counting 1001-1002-1003.
3- Release the gas pedal using the same procedure in 2.
4- Wait 6 seconds, and turn the ignition to OFF.

Your throttle response is reset.

Haha I'm not sure yet, I've only had my car for two weeks so I can't tell a big difference.

Uhm, did you know there's an insert in the cup holder that you can remove for taller cups? Yeah, cause... seriously, I've had the car for like eight months now, and I had no idea until someone posted it a little while ago.

Oh, and I dig the little high beam flashy feature when you just pull back slightly. Maybe that's a common feature, but it's new to me, and I dig it.

Yeah I've noticed that feature is common on many cars now. I know my '02 does it. I think my dad's Ram does it too. It's pretty convenient to just flick it back to flash the brights

Lol, some cool stuff in here!

Did you know there another way to open the trunk? You push on the hood "lever" instead of pulling on it (pull to open hood, push to open trunk). It's nice for when you don't have your keys on you and you need to open the trunk!

Wow, thanks Preston, I did not know this at all I thought you had to only use the remote or fab up a switch for yourself; appreciate it bud.

So far:
-Secret Cup Holders
-Grocery bag clips(very useful....in the trunk, two clips on either side of the trunk latch)
-Throttle calibration....resets the throttle response, I did it yesterday and did notice a slight difference; imo might be all in the head...as long as I "think" it did something lol

Ummm.....I can't really think of any others at the moment(only had the car for 2 1/2 months....loving every second of it!). There are a few other cool things on our cars, but I don't think there are any other "secret" features that ford hid for us to find But I may be wrong.
