Just seen a amazing mustang on pimp my ride Mary's Pulsar/Mustang (Episode 416). I would like to know more about the body kit they put on it, which one and where can I purchase it? and also which hood they used, and how the did the crome paint? is there a site that explains what they did to this car in detail? It looks amazing. Not the traditional Mustang look but very unique. Not interested in putting 20 monitors in my though. rims are kind of cook too. Thank you. http://www.mtv.com/onair/pimp_my_rid...PMR_416_10.jpg
the hood looks like the California Dream hood. I have seen that episode of PMR a few times. those guys have skills, but most of the cars they do just doesn't do it for me. I like how they did the chrome paint. that was a cool process that you can probably find in detail by doing an internet search.

Isn't the the premise of the show, take a junker that someone still drives and turn it into something eye-catching (only term I can come up with to describe it, that I can put on this site without being banned )

Yes, it is quite "Eye catching", but so is a burning barn.
The show also does pimps for "Deserving Owners" who don't have a completely messed up car.

If it looks right, it is right, and I decide if it looks right. Paraphrasing Sir Sydney Camm (of Hawker aircraft IIRC)
And funny enough, the OP called it a 'monstrosity' as well!

I saw that show what happened was that her original ride was so bad they couldn't do anything with it. The girl was a struggling student so they got her a new ride and pimped it out. Not a fan of the green, but I'd like to have the equipment to paint some chrome stripes

It's not that bad but some things are obviously bad those rims are from ghetto hell no mustang in exsistance should have bigger than a 20' for me preferably 18'. Green is all around bad on any car and 20' monitors sure a little extreme but......................
People have to stop being so simplistic muscle is a muscle car yes but the same muscle car everywhere you go gets boring that why people do off the wall stuff like this to have a car thats there own. think of all the people with white racing stripes on a blue car or white or silver on black did they make a unique car no they made another boring clone of a mustang.

Be original.
I agree with the 'be original', but I don't agree with the rest of this post. It is one thing to be original, but it is another thing to flat out ruin a car in the pursuit of originality. Not to mention the fact that if you want to be completely 'original' when it comes to modifying a Mustang, you'd better have some deep pockets and some imaginative and tasteful people to help you in your quest. Half the reason why things are so 'unoriginal' to these cars is because they're either ugly, don't work, pointless, or just stupid and no one wants to put it on their cars.
I don't care how 'original' something is on any car. Ugly is ugly.
