2008 Roush Mustang. What stage do I have?

i just recently purchased a 2008 roush. with the n/a 4.6. under the hood it has a plaque that says "2008 roush mustang mac s/e 1 of 10" i am trying to find out what stage it is. none of the paperwork says anything about it. it is not supercharged but has the roush body kit, all the roush interior items, even the roush wheels. can anyone help?

Sounds like a stage 1.

I could be wrong, and I really am simplifying things, but I think that Stage 1 is appearance package only. Stage 2 adds a better suspension. Stage 3 adds a supercharger and a tuned suspension.

I'm more curious to know what a "mac special edition" is and what it
refers to.

ROUSH Vehicles

Best thing to do is compare them and see which parts are diferent and which ones yours has to be sure.

Your a stage 2 or a stage 1 with no supercharger. There is also the Roush "Sport" model.

Best thing i'd say is give Roush a call and see if they could tell you. If they built it i'm sure they could just check the vin number and tell you everything about it.

I would say Stage 2, if it has the bodykit and the full roush interior.. If it has GT interior then its a Stage 1.

Does it say on the fake gas cap on the trunk?

2008 Roush Mustang Production Numbers

Poking around i found this. Doesn't say much but seems there are several other "special edition" Roush mustangs out there. Does tell you a fair amount of the breakdown of each category too.

Couldn't find much other info, and not surprised since there are only 10 of them.

You should be able search the car by VIN

Mac/SE

I know this was an old post but i recently found it and im not sure if you got the answer that you wanted. I am also one of the 10 proud owners of a Mac/Se ROUSH. (black). 1st off if the car was new it should have been purchased from Town and Country Ford in Nashville Tn. After doing a lot of research I was able to find out that there was a sales man at that particular dealership that sold more Roush cars than any other sales associate in the USA. So ROUSH contacted this salesman, (His last name is abreveated as MAC) and told him that he could design 10 cars. The dealership sent 10 plane jane GT's to the ROUSH factory for a facelift. As you already know they kept the N/A 4.6, they added all the trackpack suspension. And the entire ROUSH facelift package at that time. (2008). I cant remember right now but i have a print out that i found online that breaks down all the colors that the MAC/Se came in.
