Pictures of matte black SN197?

Hi folks,

I am planning to get a paint job (or maybe foil) for my black '07 Mustang GT. My problem is that I am not sure about the color. So far my favorite would be definitely matt black with matt white Shelby stripes.

The problem is that I can't find pictures of matt black Mustangs, so that's why I am posting here. I am pretty sure that there are some people around with plenty of such photos. Would be really great to get as much as possible, so that I can take my decision much easier. :smoke:

The more pictures you post, the better for me.

Looking forward to see some beautiful Mustangs.

Cheers,

Artur

i was like whose Matt??? but i am sure you mean matte black...

you know i love the matte black but i does cheapen the cars look. sort of like a racing car, which is cool for a racing car, but for an everyday car i dont know.

i was actually thinking of painting my car that way, but i figured that after awhile the color would scheme would become old and dull.

here are ome pics i found anyway

Hi fellows,

Sorry for the "matt" but I am from Germany and my English is unfortunately not perfect.

Hmm, somehow all of you seem not to like matte black at all but I really like that. I am just not sure how it would look like on my Mustang but I saw some matte black cars in Germany already:

For exampke a matte black BMW M3 and a Mercedes CLS and those cars looked really awesome!

I think this one here looks really good:

But I would need to see more pictures to get a better impression of it. So if there is anybody having more pictures, please post them here.

If you want matte black that can be washed or even waxed while keeping it matte, here's an option...
Paint Search :: Color Results - ColorRite

You'd want the one for the frame and engine color.
I have an 07 Yamaha Road Star Midnight Warrior and the matte paint on the engine is completely washable and waxable.

Good luck and let us know how it turned out.

Sorry, don't think you'll get many more pictures of Mustangs painted matte black.
To each his own, but most of us (me included) think it looks like crap.

How about black racing stripes painted on with the same stuff they use for spray on truck bedliners? Ooooh that's gnarly!
