Top speed would be in the 140's 0-60 best would be in the low 5 second range with a perfect run. More likely in the high 5 second range for the average driver.

The cars have governors that limit the car at 141~143 from what I've heard. I personally gotten it to 130 (without much effort) and don't like seeing above 100 due to the aerodynamics of the car.

how good a driver do you need to be to get to 60mph quickly?

With a Manual any decent launch and I'm there still in second gear usually....

With an Auto just push the pedal.

You do have 300 hp but that is rated at the crank to the wheels you probably have around 250 if you have a manual transmission.

With either a manual or auto you have to manage to get off the line a good rpm and not smoke the tires and hit second pretty smooth. I know by the seat of the pants it feels like your doing but go some where and have it timed. I bet most people would be suprised how hard it is.
And i'm pushing 75 mph in second gear but that doesnt mean im hittin 60 in 5 seconds.

Most of the road tests by car magazines show 0-60 in about 5.1-5.2 seconds, and a top speed of about 142. I believe the top speed is computer limited, so you can use a performance tuner to set the limit higher.

no question about that...you got to get a decent launch.... When ever I feel I've hit a good one it's usually by luck, though I've tried it enough times to have a good feeling for it. Normally when I'm trying to take off quick, I shift pretty well... I think it's because I don't have time to over-think it.

Isn't the convertible slightly slower than the coupe?

The convertible is a little heavier than the coupe, so it would make sense if its a little slower 0-60. However, in several magazine articles I've seen there was either no difference or only a tenth of a 2nd slower 0-60.
