I was chatting with a fellow Mustang owner (he has a 2011), he said after 2013 Ford is dropping the retro Mustang for something else. Anyone heard what Ford's plans are for the next couple of model years?
from what ive heard, and read on a ford press release they said the retro theme is selling to well to drop it, and plan on designing a Mustang II style for the next mustangs. All the talk of the Austin Martin style cars, and computer made images are just that rumors and someone with auto cad. Only way to tell for sure is to just wait until 2014 rolls around

This has been extensively discussed on here. All it takes is a little searching. 2014 is a near exact carry over of the 2013 and 2015 is a complete redesign.
It is my experience over the years that the FORD Motor Company will do 'whatever it bloody well wants' and to heck with what its consumers might like and/or want....

Mustang II style? I highly doubt that will happen.

I'm not so sure about that. Ford has kept the Mustang relevant since 1964. They had to listen to someone because they have been able to maintain sales all these years to keep the car alive. Not too many car companies can pull that off. Lets hope they can continue on with that tradition in 2015.
