Thumbs down stay away from blue oval industries

i bought a center light grill from blue oval for my 07 gt. they had to ship it 3 times because of awfull packing. the third time it arrived ok. installed it had a 1/2 inch gap at the drivers side. took the car for a drive got home noticed drivers side even farther out. upon inspection the mounting tabs on that side where gone, broken off. when taking the grill out all the tabs but one broke. emaile blue oval about my displeasure and all i got back from some guy named john was thanks for the email. no attempt to make it right. so i say stay away from there products and there customer service is awfull. i guess it all about the money. the minute they get there money you no longer exsist.

one more quick thing. i looked them up on the better buisness website and they are listed with a unsatisfactory rating. complaints range from shipping,faulty products, and no responce to customer problem's. once again beware.

I had similar no customer service from them. I e-mailed them about a defected product and wanted a return authorization. Never got a response. I did a letter explaining the defect, attached their return policy that was on their website and shipped back the item requesting a credit on my credit card. Surprisingly I got the credit.

But I would not buy from them again.

That's pretty infuriating. Why do they even have a business if that's the best they can do?

I too bought the center fog grille from them . The first time 2 tabs were broken and I had to call UPS to file a claim. It took ove 2 weeks for Blue Oval to get me out a second one which had 4 of the 8 tabs broken. I called UPS AGAIN to file a claim, and I also talked to John and he said that once they got the paperwork from UPS that they would give me a refund check. Who knows, maybe I will see by the end of the year, if ever.

just ship the stuff back and dispute it with you credit card....easiest way to get your money back when you are dealin with a company like that...

several emails to john trying to resolve the matter. just send me a return ship label and refund my account.easy right?no responce so far.filed a complaint with the BBB in roanoke va.they asked what outcome am i looking for full refund nothing else will be acceptable.we'll see how it goes.

Boy, that's kinda odd. That's the exact opposite experience I had with them. I ordered from them specifically because the were in-state. They were very helpful with me. But then again, I didn't have to return anything.

That is too bad. The way of business today is so impersonnal and usually a distance away. I like the old days, when you had a problem, walk into the store, if no help was given, through the crap on the counter, walk over to the shelf and help yourself to a good one or two and walk out. If anything was said, well the boys picked up the slack and the case was settled.:hihi:

I bought my Pypes Beast system from them and pointed out their add said free shipping. They said it was a mistake but they honored the free shipping if I purchased the Pypes that day. It was shipped fine and received in good shape. But again I did not have to return anything
