Default Convertible Top window separating from glass

I have a 2005 V6 with 35K miles and the convertible top is separating from the rear window on the left side. It appears the top is being "pulled" away from the glass more each time I raise and lower the top. It started in left hand top corner and has now separated about 1/3 around the entire window. I have used "welder" glue to keep it together, but wonder if there is a specific adhesive to use on convertible tops or if suggestions on why this is happening.

This is happening on my sisters 07 vert. Hoping Ford will replace top under warranty. If not, anyone find a fix for this?

If the car is still under warranty they'll replace the top.

If it's out of warranty, time to start shopping for a new top. Gluing it is at best a temporary repair.
