07 V6 0-60 Time?

Hey I was watching some mustang vids on the internet today, and I saw a 0-60 video and the timer on the video said 6.84 seconds....So I felt the urge to do a 0-60 video.

Does anyone know what exactly the stock 0-60 is supposed to be?

My video is faster than the 6.84. It's from a complete stop to about 62 or 63 mph and it stops....can you guys view it and time it yourself and post on youtube or else on here what you think it was??

thank you lol

There are so many factors that go into it. The temperature, road conditions, altitude, the gas you are using, etc. so knowing the exact is next to impossible.

I think Car and Driver had 6.5 for a stick and 6.9 for AT for V6's and 5 flat for GT sticks....

Like others said a lot of factors goes into this.

yours was about 6.6 seconds. so not far off, the thing you gotta remember is not all these cars are carbon copies of one another. there are small differences, some cars may be faster than others, like mine, my stock 0-60 was about 6.4. it looks like yours is about average.

you should definitely not be doing high 7's like one guy said, theres something wrong there.......

Ok yeah mine's an auto and stuff. I thought mine was in the low sixes, but I wasn't going to post that and have people be like OMG THERE'S NO WAY!! and stuff like that. But yeah I'm running ethanol (I live in Iowa lol) Road wasn't wet or anything, not for sure on the altitude...not very high anyway and temp was about 70 degrees on overcast day

also, what do you expect to happen when I get my dual exhaust? 0-60 faster or slower? I would think faster because you gain hp, but I've heard you lose some low end torque or something

not sure about 0-60 but your quarter time should decrease, im not sure where during the power/tq curve you are picking up the time....

that 0-60 video u saw is mine. It was my first try at it, and i had some nice wheelspin too, so not my best try.

There are many factors. Even the video quality on youtube can effect the speed lol.

The V6 AT was also rated at 7.3 by Motortrend.

2011 GT - Premium, 3.73, Brembo.

Performance Mods:

Borla Cat-Back, Airaid CAI, Bama Tuned, Jlt Catch-Can, 55D Rear Springs, J&M LCA's.

Yeah, with T/C off I got like 8 seconds because my wheels spun for a little while. They ususally just chirp but for some reason on that particular morning the car must have been a little more alive

and silverbullet about the quarter mile time....I saw somewhere (idk if it was on here or on youtube) that someone said they picked up quite a bit on their quarter mile....who knows, maybe they added a CAI at the same time and didn't tell me or post it...they said they picked up like .3 seconds supposedly lol

.3 seems a little much for just duals. maybe a tenth-a tenth and a half, but .3 seems a bit steep.
