The ones from the major players (Cooling Mist, Snow, etc) are all fairly similar.

I have the Wet-X which is based on Cooling Mist parts, and the quality and reliability have been excellent.

The Wet-X is basically a rebranded Cooling Mist trunk mount setup with unique brackets that Bamachips created to secure the tank in the Mustang trunk. If you can secure the tank in the trunk yourself, a Cooling Mist setup would be the same thing.

the only reason to ask is, i don't know if i want to go with the intercooler for the X. spend $1600 with which i would hope the tune came with, or spend $411 on the snow system. from what i have read you can get 10/15% hp increase with the snow and that would be close to or maybe a little more, than with the xtreme. cause i think the numbers for the extreme are abt 380hp/395tq at the crank. and with the snow it would be abt 390/401 at 10% gain or 408/419 at 15% gain with a 93oct. tune. am i missing something here? this is based only on what i have seen with the steeda qs6 which has an X with 355/365.:?:

For the short $$$ the meth/water injection obviously has the most bang for the buck. I'm running 300hp/352tq at the wheels, which figuring for 18% driveline loss would be 354 fwhp/415 fwtq, so obviously one can do pretty well on just the water injection.

The reliability with the intercooler should theoretically be superior, and some of us may even be toying with the idea of running both (depends if I can locate a place to locate the spray nozzle after the intercooler and still get good distribution)

ok, but at what point do you have to change the fuel pump or going kb boostapump, if you run both? sounds like a good idea maybe, i don't know.

torch, went to the c'mist site. so which one was the wet-x based on? the trunk mount? and if ur running chemical intercooling, why not just run more of a meth rich mixture and a 2.6 pulley and a kb boostapump to get to 12.5psi and get 400hp at the crank that way? seems doable. yes? no? why?

Yes, the trunk mount.

You probably could get some further gains with a more potent water/meth mixture (I generally run the -20 degree blue washer fluid). If I was going to go that way (i.e. take the injection to the edge) I'd want to build more safeguards into the system, such as the flow gauge and injection controller Cooling Mist offers, paired with the solenoid that Snow sells that can open the bypass valve and bleed off boost in a fault situation (clogged line, pump failure, etc)
