2009 Production Numbers

Any one know where to find 2009 production numbers by color, engine, trans and interior color? I was curious how many others were out there like mine?

GrayPony,

What's your source for these 2008/2009 production numbers? I've been looking for production numbers on Warriors In Pink Mustangs for the 2008/2009 model years for the WIP registry for a long time.

I was able to get 2008 numbers from what I know to be a credible source, and they pretty much match what you've posted here. But I've never seen any 2009 production numbers until you posted these here.

2008 Mustang Convertible-Warriors In Pink edition
-1 of only 1,382 WIP Mustangs built in 2008
-1 of only 58 Silver Metallic WIP Mustang
convertibles
-Possibly 1 of 1 (only known 2008 WIP with
elements of the 2009 WIP package: pink hood
stripes, 2009 WIP rocker ribbon, and billet grille
FRPP CAI, FRPP V6 Touring Dual Exhaust, Bama Tunes, Jerry's P&P TB

That does look like a Ford doc and terminology.

Great info, not the ultimate breakdown like a Marti report but nice.

According to the 2008 sheet my car is 1 of 604 (5% of V6 verts with stick shift)

Now: 2012 V6 Coupe, Grabber Blue, 6-speed manual, no options=3319 pounds, Airaid CAI, FRPP Touring exhaust, FRPP strut brace, FRPP 17" Bullitt silver wheels, OEM rear spoiler, OEM decklid panel, OEM engine cover, white retro shift knob, 3.7 badges, GT500 steering wheel, Raxiom fog lights, Barton shifter bracket

Past Lives: 2008 Ford Mustang Vert, 1988 Mazda RX-7 Vert, 1985 Nissan 300ZX, 1979 Mazda RX-7, 1971 Datsun 240Z, 1972 Fiat 124 Vert, 1971 Chevy Chevelle, 1970 Dodge Challenger

So that means my car is one of 96 ... V6 with the V6 Appearance Package. I wish it would go into further detail then I could figure out a better number with all the things my car has.

I was able to get 2008 WIP production numbers last year from a reliable source, and I passed them on to Dave. I was planning on sending the 2009 production numbers that were posted here to Dave also, but just wanted to confirm their validity first.

The WIP info in the 2008 production numbers that you posted here pretty much matches the numbers I obtained, so I don't doubt the validity of the 2009 production numbers that you posted. I'm just curious as to where you got them, because Ford is extremely notorious for not keeping good records on production numbers, and it's like pulling teeth to get them to release anything publicly.

You can on occasion find good info on the Blue Oval forum. (ford)
The mustangsource is also a good place to look.

No the numbers in quotes are some Ford number not the total would not add up.

So for a V6 Coupe Pony Packages would be 34% or the 39,557 made = 13,746.

Would need to do the math for all the lines.

Pony Package was a great deal about $800 in 2008 for wheels\tires\sway bar and badges so easy to see why it was popular.
