Default Removing center console w/ ambient lighting

Hey, i just purchased the tci ratchet shifter for my 08 and i need to remove my center console to install the new shifter. Problem is i have the ambient lighting package and im not sure if the removal procedure same. Any help would be appreciated or at least a point in the right direction!

i cant say for sure cause i dont have that option. but i would bet the only difference might be a plug or 2. you`ll know as soon as you get the console loose. it will be obvious what you need to do. your gonna like the shifter

thanks, im super siked, sounds good but mu only concern is ripping out wires or breaking something when i pull it up but i should be good if im just careful, theres probably nothing special to it

As I recall last time I took out mine (no lighting option) there was an unused wiring connector clipped to the floor under the cup holders. I'm guessing that would be the connector for your lighting.
