Default 2006 V6 went dual,bad MPG!

I recently installed a H dual conversion kit with GT takeoffs, soung great, looks better.......MPG not so happy!
What happend?On a full 93 octane tank and a street tune I use to get 360 miles,now I can get 310!
Plus, when I tune the car (SCT3) RACE from Bama the wheels use to spin A LOT....now I've noticed less low torque.......almost no spin!
Did I killed my performance avoiding backpressure?

as long as you keep the H pipe the same diameter as the factory exhaust you shouldn't have back pressure loss. Gt take offs are what im running, with divorced duals. i also have a bama 93 octane race tune on, and my fuel mileage is around 310 a tank or so, so you should be ok. you probably have just been getting on it more often, thus throwing out fuel mileage, once you get used to it, you'll even out probably..... my mileage got better with an intake, tune and exhaust, yours should too

+1, I think you're experiencing some "lead foot syndrome". With a 93 octane tune and much nicer sound, you can't tell us that you're not getting into more. :nogrinner

When I put duals on my gas mileage tanked, but it quickly returned back to normal once I started driving it 'normally.'

With all my mods I get 360-380 to a tank. And I've got an automatic so I'd say I'm doing pretty good ;P

All highway driving. :P I drive at 70mph max(or 2000rpm) even if the speed limit is 75. I drive 3 hours round trip every day so I have to conserve gas as much as possible. Also regular maintenance and lightening my lead foot. :P

I have a X-Pipe and Duals with GT takeoff mufflers and run a 93 race Tune and get better gas mileage than when I ran the factory stock muffler and the stock tune with 87 Octane.....I Love it! Something's wrong.
