x-charger from explorer express

I just got an e-mail from explorer express regarding an inquiry I made about thier x-charger. They now carry one for our V-6's
They say the cost is 3750.00 w/o the tuner. They also said that bamachips has the tune for it.
My question is has anyone here tryed one? Is it as easy as they say to install?
From what I understand since it works differntly than a regular blower it make great HP and TQ at low and midrange RPM's all this sounds too good to be true...... Is it??

Can you post a link to the advertisement for the kit? Maybe I can figure it out from that.

If it's half as good as the FRPP kit for the 4.6L, it's a great unit.

I just installed mine mostly on my own last weekend. 8 hours, taking it slow and double checking everything.

This thing is a beast! Quiet at idle, boost comes in strong around 2200rpm and look out from there

Also looks hot with the hood up:

2005 Torch Red 4.0L V6 Mustang Convertible
X-Charger Xtreme Supercharger S/N 004
TR-6060 Six-Speed Manual / SPEC Stage 3+ Clutch
JBA Headers, H-pipe, Corsa mufflers
3.73 gears/ 2013 SVT axle assembly

That looks nice. How's the clearance on your brace? Also, what tune are you running with it?

Yeah I second Stls question was th etune for it readily avaliable and from who did you get the tuner. I understand that EE use Bamachips and I'd love to know how the tune download went.

Doug at Bamachips does the tunes for the X-Charger, and the man is a wizard imho. Tune download was flawless. He even built my 3.73 gears into the tune so I wouldn't have to manually set that on the Xcal2

The clearance with the strut brace was even more than with the factory manifold. I gained about 1/2" to 3/4" more clearance under the brace
