Does anyone know how this hood attachs??? It seems like I have to take my car to the shop for installation. I'm thinking holes need to be drilled to attach the stock hood lift and other mounts. I guess what I want to know is if I can do it on my driveway or is it complicated to install this hood???
my cervinis hood came pre-drilled and i just attached to existing hardware. fit was right on. glad you live in maryland, that hood would not pass virginia state inspection.
I don't particularly care for it. Its too wide, too tall and takes away from teh smoot look of the new stang. Plus you are not going to get any kind of benifit from it. Underhood temps aove 35mph are almost ambient, the factory hood is already made of light material.
So, I would spend my money elsewhere... and I have, but all in all I have seen worse lookign hoods for these cars. If you want it, Cervini's is a good company and you will get a quality product.

yea i kinda understand what you're saying, because if i decide to go that route i will be spending $299 for the hood, $200 to get it painted, and probably another $120 for install. thats alot of money now that i think about it. thanks dude
that hood is for people who drag race and have some crazy crate engine in there and dont car about the looks of the car. Steeda makes two nice cowl hoods like that that both look 10 times better. http://www.steeda.com

that hood looks worse than the cervinis. the cervinis is 4inches and comes with the grille and pony emblem. eventually when its all painted and mounted the cervinis would look 20times better than the steeda.....
Where do you get the hood for $300? $200 for prep and paint is a deal too!
You can install it at home... I would wory more about moving/chimming fenders etc. to make the gaps around perfect...??
i shop through my fast fords & mustangs magazine, so this guy gives me a call knowing that im willing to spend big bucks on my mustang, and offers me the hood with the finished underliner for $299, the downside is the shipping cost is another $135. so im trying to see if i can call UPS to pick it up and deliver at my house for way cheaper $$$.

supposedly they claim it reduces underhood pressure by 10 to 20% because it has a induction outlet....
