Default 2007 Mustang GT... Where's the fill plug on 5 speed manual transmission?

I just finished changing my shocks/struts and figured while I'm under the car, I might as well change the trans fluid. I see the drain plug on the bottom, but where is the fill plug? Help! And, how much oil does it take? I was told 3.5 quarts.

Thanks Mark. However, it doesn't say where the fill plug is or how much oil.

Takes 3.2 qts of MERCON ATF. The fill plug is on the side. Don't remember which side though.

The fill hole is on the right side by the aft part of the case. I picked up a pump for a motor boat trans. It fits the trans fluid bottle perfactly but you have to take off the quick coupler for the motor boat.

3/8 inch from the bottom of the plug hole and I use AMSOIL
Universal ATF.

O.K. I found the fill plug. Now I just have to decide how much to put in. Has there been any revised fill level from Ford, as with the differential level? Otherwise I'll put in the 3.2 qts. as Mark suggested. Then it's on to the motor mounts.

Still calls for the 3.2 qts. See if that gets you to 1/2" below the fill plug. What kind of fluid are you putting in?

Heh, when I got my car last November, I almost freaked when I couldn't find the fluid level dipstick. I was like WTF, how do I check my fluid!? My dad almost busted a gut laughing at me... it's been so long since I had a manual, I forgot they don't have transmission dipsticks.

Actually, the automatics don't have one either.
