Default At what point should you have LCA Relocation Brackets welded in?

I have the brackets, but they are bolted in. I plan on doing some more drag racing in the near future (nothing too extreme, just some spirited fun). I'll be adding TCI 3K, Spydershaft, some drag radials and maybe some coils. Steeda recommends that theirs be welded in, but BMR and CHE give you options. I'm wondering if I should just go that route while I have the car in the air. I'm hoping to drop my 60ft time substantially from the not-so-impressive 2.3 seconds I was running on my first trip and break 7 seconds (1/8 mile track is closest thing to me). I just don't want to risk having my bracket snap off or something. That just wouldn't be cool.

Hey Joel, just go and get them welded on. Cheep insurance. A couple passes with a welder and you don't have to think about it again. Go for it.

I agree they should be welded. If you snapped one of the bolts, it could get messy.

Cool. That's what I was thinking. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that they should be welded in if you have better than 1.6 60' times. I don't know what that feels like, but hopefully in a month, I will.

That's some good info, I have the BMR bolted in right now so next time I bring my car to the shop I may have them weld them.

If you can do better than a 1.60 60' you'll be my hero.
