I have a 2008 Mustang GT im thinking of changing the automatic into a manual. I want to know if its possible and how much it might cost and where I can get it done in the Los Angeles area.

Can a Ford shop do it or do i have to go somewhere else.

It can be done. The factory did it so, so can a ford dealer. Its not going to be cheep.

Very expensive. You'd need the transmission, main wire harness, PCM, clutch master & slave, flywheel, clutch, & clutch pedal. Looking at about $3k in parts alone (and that's if you get a takeoff tranny for $700).

i had a buddy down the street of mine look into that for his s197. he backed right out once he saw the labor ford was going to charge him. basicaly keep it auto. sometimes i wish i had auto when im in traffic lol.

cheaper and easier to just trade the car...besides you will lose all your warranty but anyways good luck.
