Just wondering if the shock/strut tower brace from a 07/08 mustang gt 500 shelby will fit a stock 06 mustang gt? I'm concerned that it might hit the hood due to the arch to clear the supercharger on the shelby.

yes it should fit.. i dont think you'll have any trouble out of it. did you buy or looking at buying it? cause if your looking at buying one i know they sell ones that are for gt's

it's going to hit your hood, I had one on my car, if you install it with the arch curving to the front of the car and put a couple of washers between the brace and the shock tower on the rear studs it will angle the front of the brace down just enough to clear the hood, I bought the Bullitt brace which is the same as the FRPP V6 brace and switched to it, it clears the hood and the OEM manifold cover with no problems and looks 100 times better then the single tube GT500 brace.
