I just installed my Oil separator and got a P0174 code (bank 2 which is driver's side?) I am pretty sure the installer needs to go back and make sure everything is tightened, but if anyone else has a suggestion let me know.

Sounds like a small intake leak from the install.

I had the same codes from running a Demolet CAI and Bama 92 Performance tune. The JLT is very similar to the Demolet CAI. I never did figure out why it leaned out on both banks. I tightened everything and even had the tune adjusted numerous times. Still nothing to resolve the issue. After a year, I eventually gave up and went back to the stock box. No problems now. Are you running a Bama tune?

Always a possibility. I'm on my 3rd set in 4 years.

Last week i was running a tune from another tuner and I got the code on two seperate occassion. Several weeks back I had an issue that turned out to be a wire that was exposed that kept presenting as a bad sensor, but I did have one sensor that was going bad. So the Ford Tech thinks my code is related to that sensor. Just a thought you might have them check it. Apparently Race Fuel can cause some problems with "heaters" in the sensor. So my problem is self induced as I have been running some aviation fuel (cheaper than race fuel).

Av gas is 100LL the LL is for Low Lead. Which isn't good for the o2s that's what is happening to yours.

Yeah I know but it is waaaaay less than race fuel. Our track sells race fuel for $10 a gallon. My buddy is a pilot and I pay less than $3 for av gas. If I raced more I could possibly justify buying a fifty gallon drum of the race fuel but my racing is sporatic at best.

I think the idiot (me) who did the install didn't tighten the cap on the oil separator tight enough. I didn't and haven't thrown a code since (only 4 drives, but looks promising)

I was really worried that I would have to try and find the leak with some propane or MAPP gas which scares the $#!+ out of me.
