I've just installed my Hurst and love the thing reminds me of my old muscle cars, if you want the feel of a new high tech shifting than I would say don't do the Hurst, with the Hurst you definitely know when your in gear, for me the so called click feeling or the clunking, is just pure muscle car.

Thanks RedMosesSC,

Amazing write up!

Sorry to ruffle some feathers. But I am not considering in the Hurst Shifter. Although it is: Cost affective, looks amazing, feels good, and has great nostalgia.

But IMO it is over done; don't get me wrong I have a great respect for the past, and love the concept.

I just want to stray away from the pack on this one.

Depending of course if I can get some seat time in.

In response to "MGW Shifter installed and detailed review 5 speed S197"

No way the kit comes with Dynamate? Thats awesome. My favorite part of the reveiw was "it feel very sturdy, like it belongs in a FORD GT super car and not a Mustang GT".

Never knew it was adjustable. For height, and throw; think I'm sold
