Default 2006 Mustang GT Headlight wont turn off

Now I did it again, the headlights wont get off.
I was mounting a Daytime Running Light and was searching for the taillight wire at the headlight switch. I put current on the wires one by one and the headlights turned on and now i have to take away the cabel grip from the battery to turn the lights off

sounds like something is bridged. like you have a headlight wire, and a ground wire , bridged by an open circut. recheck your wireing!
