Wow, finally got a good setup after trying 2 CAI and 3 different tune venders (Tillmans ftw)(Didnt like the K&N, C&L racer much better) Best combo to limit 3rd 4th gear bogging. After 4 months of crap I am now ready for my next mod.
Anyone running Pypes violators? How are they and is their much drone to them?
from what i have heard about them.... drone is not that bad... some around the typical 2-2.5k range... and fitment is a hit or miss... mostly they fit poorly and need some struggle to make them align properly (from what i read)... other then that they sound pretty decent from the clips ive seen online.
im sure plenty of owners running them will chime in.

I have had mine for almost 2 years. I love them. They have gotten much louder with age. Love the deep low tone. Mine fit perfect. There is real little drone but it does not bother me. They really sound good when you get on the throttle. I really like the 4" tips. Looks real good and fills the bumper cutouts real nice. I have an angled rear shot of my car in my gallery if you want to see. Not great shot but it gives you an idea.

If drone is a concern then a straight thru type muffler is better than a chambered. I ran Bassanis for a while and had absolutely no drone, even with high flow cats. My Borlas have a little around 2500 rpm.

In the cards: intake, headers, exhaust, gears, spray and tune.
well just bought them and 1/2 way done with install. Pain in the *ss to get one hanger bolt off, my hands are too big. So far more air is coming out of the pypes vs stock, one side is pypes the other still stock. Yea 4inch tips look better
I like my Violators very much....... they drone a little, but it also gives that nice muscle car rumble too, so it's a fair tradeoff.
