Exhaust cutout install

Hi all,

Just want to know if you guys have install exhaust cutout on a mustang 2005, if so where did you install them.

Why you took them off ???
The other guy just before you said that it sound like crap ???
I dont understand why you guy are againt it.
I heard from an other car not a mustang so i figure from a mustang the sound will be very nice.

With longtubes and cams they would probably sound great. With stock manifolds, it will sound like a farm tractor

I've installed cutouts on my 06 GT. At idle and high RPM it sounds very nice. At lower RPM it does get a bit tractor-ish. But I've had nothing but compliments on the way it sounds from everyone.

I installed mine just after the Cats and put the electric ends on the y pipe so that I can close them with the push of a button. Around town they are mostly closed, but I open them up when I autocross. You may lose a little low end torque, but it really helps up at the higher RPM range.
