Nice!

I think its about time I get that shortblock out of the crate and pop it in the car.

My fuel system is simple and all ready for 800hp

I think I'm pretty close to getting this thing dialed in. I'll probably get back on the dyno in August. Have to decide if I want to go with an Anderson Power Pipe and Abaco DBX97b MAF.

I read about these, pretty trick. I asked my dyno guys if they thought I should be thinking about something like that and they said I was good to go at 650hp with the stuff that came with the KB kit. I'm not bummed that I don't have to spend more $$, but cool stuff is always fun.

I'm almost done with the car. Pop in that shortblock, turn up the boost, get my 200mph jacket at Maxton and then its time to start another project. Either a Fox Notch with a big smallblock that runs low 9's on the street or a Factory 5 Cobra with a 4v modular in it. Choices, choices. I think the wife would prefer the latter though. It would be something for her to drive.

That MAF actually has a USB port and software that you can use to tune it directly. Sounds pretty futuristic!

I have been CC free for 9 years now, best thing I ever did.

A couple years before that I raced on CC's to the tune of $90K! (that doesn't include the bikes or trailer....or truck). Talk about digging a hole

Had a great F-in time though

It'll be 2 years this month since I've been to the track. I'd be lucky if I could break into the 12s.

I manage to pay things off month-to-month but it does get expensive!

That sucker will do high 11's with REAL street rubber on it. You will be spinning them all the way down the track though

That sucker will yank the tires with drag radials. Just a couple weeks back at the MRA deal at Milan my friend was running one of PHP's GT500's that was backed down to about 625hp for the Real Street class. I don't know what drag radials were on it but with a full weight+ GT500 and a 4.10 that sucker was yankin' the wheels about a foot with a 4K rpm clutch drop. 4,200+lbs and yankin' the wheels with a car that still has A/C, full interior, runs on premium and will idle all day with the A/C blastin ice cubes can't be beat Oh yeah, he ran a 10.85 on his first pass and never drove the car before. Ran a 10.91 or something on his second run and then shifted into 4th 1,000rpm's early on the last pass and got an 11 something. His three passes averaged out to 11.01. Think he nailed the 11sec class a bit?

Your car has got to be at least 500# lighter. Either run that thing with your street rubber and have some fun going sideways down the track and running not so hot ET's at stupid fast MPH. Or put some good rubber on it and make one pass and wait to get to kicked out

I think it'll lift the wheels, but I haven't tried. My ET Streets are shot so I'll need a new set.

Good to see you back up and running. Speaking of filters, I probably need to check mine out. It's been awhile...

All this CC talk makes me friggen SLAP my self in the face 10 times over.... I hate those things... once mine are paid.... I swear im putting them in my Dad's pocket.... god knows that is the only way i can resist using them!!!

Actually I love my parents... I made a secret pact to do something for him and my CC's will be paid off magically one day by him within the next year.... oh what a 22 year old burden I am to my parents, LOL!

Atleast I did my degree which they are proud of. Now only if I get my head back in that LSAT study book and write my damn LSAT this year and start applying for Law School I bet my pops would pay off all my debt if i got into Law school

Isnt it great being a parent Mark? (I saw your post about paying daughter#3's tuition)

Although in all fairness to me I did work since I was 12 till 20 foR my Dad for free.... its payback time baby!
