Results are in... The MAF sensor was the final missing piece. Car is back to its old self. Took it out for a 40 mile run and it ran great.

I would have suggested that you start with California for your spree, nothing good comes from that state.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. Couldn't figure out why my coolant and cylinder head temperatures have been a little higher than usual lately. Turns out that the cooling fan resistor that controls low speed fan operation is burned out. So I've been operating with no low speed fan and a high speed fan that doesn't kick in until 202*. So I ordered yet another part.

Apparently you have your own economic stimuls plan going on there.
