Traction control will 100% for sure make it so you cannot spin the tires. That's what it's job is. It's useful for low traction conditions like rain/gravel/snow. I keep mine turned off all the time.

You don't lose power with it just turned on. Only if it kicks in.

After I crank the car I turn the TCS off and then I drive. It's always off unless it's raining.

I leave mine on by default, and turn it off when I'm going to jump off a light or something. My wife's usual reaction to me hitting the button varies but is usually somewhere between fear and... umm... fear.

I usually leave mine on and don't notice any power difference. Turning it off though does make it interesting when trying to take off and turning onto highways.

Mine's turned off permanently in my tune. Seems pretty useless to me.

I turned my off with the preditor, but now I get a "check traction control" message every time I start up. If I have to hit a button to clear it, might as well turn it back on and just hit the off button. That way its there if it snows in July....GA

With a name like Petunia, it's not much of a surprise.
