Ford has just recently issued 2 TSBs for the 05 GT Mustangs. The first one is TSB 04-24-20 : The issue is limited slip axle chatter during low speed manuevers while turning. Its refers to replacing the clutch pack and using different gear lube. This TSB also covers other Ford models with limited slip rear diffs. The second one is TSB 04-26-22 : The issue is for "check engine" light illumination without driveability concerns and multiple DTCs P035X's. This is set during engine decell and would probably not be noticed during driving. The P035X DTC are for the ignition coil packs primary or secondary circuits malfunction.

Just adding another "thank you." It's nice to see the information you provide and much appreciated.
Where did you find these TSBs? Can you provide a link?

I'm a Ford service tech and I worked on a 05 Mustang GT with a check engine light on. I accessed this information thru Ford's "OASIS" which is only available to dealership personel. I'll try to keep everyone abreast on any TSBs,SSMs and broadcast messages.

I just dropped my GT off at the dealer for the check engine light this morning. Mine is noticable during driving though, it stays on constantly. It's been there almost 4 hours, haven't heard anything yet.

I took a look at the TSBs.. it looks like they are for the Ford GT not the Mustang GT. As far as my check engine light, they say it's just the gas cap & seal.
I took my GT in to have the drivers mirror replaced as it had a stain on it from the factory or the trip to Texas. Also I asked them to look at the whine I was hearing when coasting between 40 and 55mph, I was told by someone else in this forum that it may be a coast gear in my Auto. But I got a call from the service man and he said that the noise aI was hearing is from the rear end. I know there has been several conversations in this forum about others having to get their rear end replaced once or more. I asked the service man if the new rear end that they would order had the repair of whatever it is that is causing the problem and he basically said they would send the exact rear end with no modified parts, therefore the chances are there that the 2nd or 3rd or however many rearends that they install may have the same problem. Apparrently there is no TSB out there yet from Ford that recognizes the problems in the many that they have already replaced. I asked if the fact that they know my Stang has the problem is documented against the VIN and it is. I told the serviceman that I will hold off getting it replaced right now as the sound is not that annoying yet and will wait till Ford gets their head out of their butts and has a TSB and they have a fix for it rather then taking a chance that just putting in another would not have problems. Anyway, I suggest that we put this topic of TSB's as a sticky so it stays at the top of the forum for everyone to find easily. I know that I will watch it closely. Not sure how to make it a sticky, so I assume that someone does and can put it in that status.
I second the motion by newgtowner about making his recommendation a sticky. His idea makes good sense. I too think I may be hearing a subtle whine between 45 & 55 MPH; but, I don't know if it's normal for the car, or could be the start of a deteriorating problem. One thing is for sure, I'm not about to bring my car in to my knucklehead Ford Dealer and let them try to figure out if there is a problem; let alone put another part in the car that is not a modified piece designed to correct the original problem - that's crazy!
Until something's broke, I'm not going near the dealer. I'll wait for the TSB's too if Ford ever decides to start issuing them.

Dave 02 GT, I have seen that you may have put a topic as a sticky before in the 2005 Mustang forum topic. Can you put this topic about TSB's as a sticky so that we can monitor it more closely for issues that we have with our Pony's. I cannot seem to figure out how to go about it. Thanks in advance.b
