Red face Scratch on my new 06 GT

I tried to wet sand with 1200 grit. Now the area is dull.
Any recomendations, what compound to use.

after 1200 grit, use 1500, and then 2000. after that 3M rubbing compound works well. you can pick up a 5 0z. bottle at wal - mart for about $8.

You can use a buffer to cut the scratches you made with a medium compound, then going to a finer and finer compound till it is shiny, be carefull because the stock clear coat is very thin
