I don't think mine are that low. I will measure them (sometime! I don't follow up as fast as I should). When I tightened my catted X pipe I used a floor jack and kept significant upward pressure on them while tightening them. ALSO did you NOTICE that the x pipe can be installed upside down if you are not very observant? I had mine slipped together upside down the "first time" and as I tightened them up I thought..."that looks like it will be hanging down too low..." so I removed everything and put it in the other way.

I lost the time on the edit feature so I better post up in a reply to mine... Well then, i went out and looked. Sure enough they are about an inch lower than the rail. I am surprised I had that much to drink when i put them in. I "swore" I remembered it differently!

I still drag the cats from time to time. But at least now they're hollow so I don't have to worry!

Is your car lowered? I have Kooks sitting in a box waiting for the CMVC delete plates to get here and then I'm installing everything myself. I'm running Steeda Ultralites, so I dropped about 1". And great write up!!! Printing it now!!!

Well all my parts are in, so getting ready to do the install in the next couple of days. Found it useful to have these write ups printed out, so I put it in a Word document (I can't make PDFs). Came out to 73mb LOL so made it into 5 parts. Each part is about 15mb, so if anyone cares to download these and put them into PDFs which should make them smaller, it may make it easier for other people.
Thanks Jay Tee for such an awesome write up!!!!
