Default shelby gt500 front end question.

I am going to be changing my front end to the gt500 front end. I do like the look of the fog lights being in the lower bumper but i would also like to install our stock lamps into the upper grille. how hard would that be to do? is it possible. Tomorrow is my bday and I have had a few drink already. I hope I explained this well enough.

I fI understand you correctly, you want to put on the GT500 front clip (because you like the lower fog lights) but you also want to utilize the stock foglights into the GT500 grill? Correct? I think you would have to do a custom application I have nto seen a GT500 grill that would accept the stock foglights. Time to start cuttting.

I would think, take a look at how your stock fog lights are mounted. It should not be difficult to cut the GT500 grill and mount the lights. You could cut the the old plastic mounting circles out of the stock grill and blend them into the new one. Could provide for a very interesting look.

Would it be possible to cut the stock grill to fit the GT500 grill openning? Kind of like installing a billet grill on a truck. Obviously the piece between headlights and grillis slanted more onthe GT500 front end than that of stock, but it might be easier to trim down the stock grill than to cut out the foglights and remount them. If not, I would look at maybe using C-clips and screws to hold the foglights in place ont eh new grill (after you cut an openning in the grill for the fog lights). I think I would talk to a body shop guy to see how creative he can be.
