Default New Wheels on 2007 question

Has anyone added aftermarket wheels to a 2007 with the pressure sensor on it? Will the installers transfer them to the new wheels?

Yes, several here have but I believe you need to purchase new bands from the installer.

If you do a forum search on here you'll find the specifics of what's involved.

The sensor is a questionable application.I went to a chain and cable company and they sold hose clamps large enough in diamter to run on a 20" rim.The sensor slips right into the hose clamp.I purchased a set of 20's for the 07' and should have them by early Febuary.I did a test fit of the clamps and the fit nice and tight.
The new clamps that were installed on my18" Konigs havn't come loose sinse I had them installed back in August. They are big hose clamps also.
