Default 2007 Mustang LOW Dyno Numbers

Well i am at work so i can't post my actual dyno sheet but here are the specs.

2007 mustang GT 3930mi, mobil 1 oil, HTO sparkplugs
WMS 95mm MAF Intake system
Magnapack Magnaflow Cat-back
FRPP 4.30 Gears
Auburn pro LSD
SCT SF Tuner tuned by Bamachips

Dynojet dyno, temp 66 deg 49% humidity

1st Pull
242 hp 272 ft/lbs tq
2nd pull
250 hp 280ft/lbs tq

After that i was really sad so i did a nitrous run
3rd pull 75 shot
347 hp and 425 ft/lbs of torque
i guess the N20 really leaned it out made over 100hp difference.

now why are my numbers so low? To make things worse some guy showed up in a black 06 with a K&N FIPK intake and SLP loudmouths on 87 octane gas made 286 rwhp and 305 ft/lbs tq. I cried that night....

here is a video before you call BS

1st off, automatic or standard? Second, with 4.30 gears, you're losing 10% rwhp right off the bat. 3rd, there have been great variations in HP on stock GTs (from low 240s to mid 270s). You may have just got one of the low ones. Also, what octane tune are you running?

So if your car was right at 300 bhp, and you figure you're losing about 22% for the drivetrain (12%) and gears (10%). That would take you down to the mid 230s rwhp. Factor in the CAI and tune and I suppose I would have suspected mid 250s.

4.10s are about a 5% loss. 4.30s are in the 8-10% range. 4.56s are even higher.

so, would a car with just an axleback, CAI & tune, x pipe & 4.10 gears still accelerate better than one without them (talking about 40-140mph rollon race here)

wow that is too gay, i was expecting 5% loss from the gears not 10%.

My car is slow i mean slow from a 40-140 mph roll but i did beat an 07 sti from a roll and then lost to a 00 camaro z/28

With 4.10s and the other mods, your car would almost certainly be quicker off the line. You will lose some top-end speed though.

now - are we just talking speed here - or acceleration. I know that if not I am redlining my 5th gear @ 160mph (just an example) that after gears it would redline at 150mph (again, just an example). But, would it be getting there quicker?

& this is already kinda late to ask since I already have a ford racing 4.10 kit sitting next to me, but - if I were to run a car identical to mine with only difference being the gears - taken all the other factors out - how far would I pull it from 40-140mph roll.... I am just trying to figure out how much those gears will improve my acceleration...

Quicker 0-60 acceleration over the same car with stock 3.55s.

what about 60-120 ? lol -- seriously though, i am just trying to see if those gears will improve my off the line performance only, or is it gonna be entire range acceleration.... per say if we were both to hammer it at 80ish,.. would the two cars accelerate different?

ok stlwagon this doesn't make any sense, so lets assume 10% for the gears that 25hp now add the loss to my actual hp and its only 275hp most 3valves with intake exhaust and tune dyno more than that... i emailed bamachips my dynofiles haven't had a response yet.
