Unexpected mod to front bumper I've had my 2006 GT convertible for a few months and have done some minor mods-side scoops, Roush hood scoop, light bar. Was getting ready to move to CAI and tuner next when we got faced with an unexpected mod tonight by hitting some sort of animal (didn't see it, couldn't find it). The damage is limited to a cracked front bumper cover, cracked turn signal assembly, and cracked headlight bracket. Instead of turning it over to my insurance I believe I can just about fix it myself (?) for what the deductible is and probably keep my insurance from going up.

If your a hands on kinda guy you should just replace your bumper yourself
it is a great thing to do and you will learn more about your car! (make sure your careful though)
As for bumpers, I am of no asistance, sry

If you can get it prepainted, you should just replace it yourself. Get a extra set of hands, jack it up and you should have it done in probably an hour and change. The used bumpers are probably the best deal, but the prepainted ones will likely have no scratches whatsoever.

how much different is the saleen front end compared to the standard GT? i just thought it was in the grill
