S197 Mustang with floppy door handle I got a floppy passenger side door handle its common here but ive not seen any comments about it. ?

It is very common. I don't know of an S197 where this hasn't happened. I do believe there is a TSB but I do not know which one.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. My door handles are fine. Of course, everything else fails.

I've had both of mine replaced... just make sure they replace the whole door handle, and not try to fix the existing door handle with new parts, because after a month or so it will begin to do the same thing. Insist that they do it right and replace the entire door handle!

Hey Mark,
I had the drivers handle replaced. The shop said they'd have to paint the new one. I told them you can get painted handles from Ford, but those will run out of stock eventually. This is the same shop that told me the corrosion on my hood isn't.
