2006 V6 Mustang... Need instructions to remove center console

i need to take the middle console out to run some wires under it. lookin to find out how to take it out before i go out and try anything

Anyone seen a console delete? I always thought the '65 '66 looked nice w/o the console.

Don't need the armrest nor the storage bin. We've got that huge glove box to hold the tire press guage. (satire)

Hi I was wondering if I could get that PDF also. My email is (deleted) I spilled milk on the center console and after taking out the seats and washing the carpet I realized that I still smell a milk odor coming from the center console. Thanks a bunch, I'm trying hard not to cry over this spilled milk...

Tacobill has awrite up with pics, but its easy just take out the two philips head screws under the center arm rest. unscrew the shift knob pop off the shift boot. and it pretty much lifts out unless you have the ambient lighting then you have to disconnect the two connections when you have it part way out. make sure you cover the edge near the dash with a rag so as not to scratch it.

Something that might be a good investment for most of you on here is the official shop manuals. I went to one of the mechanics in the service department and convinced him to get me both Volume 1 and 2 for the 2008 V6 for only $175, cash transaction, that would have cost me $250+ from ford. It has helped a lot with installing things, esp. my headlights and navigation system. Just something to check out.
