Default 07 mustang unknown wire harness

Hello All. For those who dont know i have an 07 mustang that has been in a front end collision. I have taken it upon myself to fix the car and have it almost completed. It does run and everything seems to be working fine. I am waiting for the new bumper to come in the mail to go with the rest of the body kit. however i have a harness that i found under the car and am not sure what it goes too. It was somewhere around the engine i believe. It has a red wire and a black wire that extend to a brown harness on one end and a black harness on the other. The bottom of the black harness has a metal square casing with holes in it and a spring/coil inside of it. There is a label around the wires that says: INDAK 06318.... 6002XA05... 7R338L60... G6UYG... the ...s are where the numbers fade out beacuse the label is fading. Does anyone have any ideas? Let me know thanks. PS there is a pic attached

Ok Thanks. Any help is greatly appreciated I looked around and i havent got the slightest clue. I noticed on the label it said invak so i looked up their website and it doesn't say a whole bunch other than they only sell to businesses and they do have a partnership with ford. Thanks for your time

ok im a tech just not a ford tech. im gonna go out on a limb and say its a blower motor resistor or a resistor of some kind. it has the proper cage the old resistors had and also you mentioned it has a metal coil inside the cage. stl what do you think??

I haven't had any luck identifying it. Certainly appears to be a resistor of some kind.

Well thanks for trying. Ya i when i looked on the indak site they showed they do make blower resisters for ford but what would that cause if it was unplugged? Everything seems to be working fine? I left my car alone for about a week or so and my dad fixed a few small things i guess its possible that he replaced it but i don't really know. I called indak today but i only got voicemail for all the extensions i tried so i left messages and no one called me back. ford couldn't tell me because the 7r33 number that got rubbed off is the number they needed. I guess if anything goes wrong I will know what it is. Once again, thanks for the time and effort

Any Suggestions? me2

Hi guys,

i think i know what that part is for...

my crown vic's radiator fan wasnt working so i tested all the relays and checked the fuses... all was ok, so i changed the motor, then when i was installing it... i saw that the fan motor has a cable set that goes to a part.. seems like an LC circuit (L:inductor & C:capacitor) to regulate the fan motor... , so my LC cct is blown and im lookin for one ...on it is printed G6UYG 0220.1203B FN145 .... lemme know if anyone has one (as if), but i just wanted to share.. hope this helps..
