pretty cool. got the mufflers the night before last, and last night i couldnt wait any longer. decided to put one on and check it out. pulled all the hanger bolts with a air ratchet, and the muffler came right off with no effort. re installed the hangers with the gt muffler, about 15-20 minutes. i want to take it back off, cut about 1 1/2 in off the tip. it sounds louder, not overy loud, till you tromp on it. people could hear you commin a ways away. sounds great at idle.

i`m gonna order the h pipe this weekend. i wont be happy till i have dual. i hope its not any louder really. maybe with 2, it will be just a tad quiter. i was gonna wait for the entire install, but i couldnt wait. had to see what 1 sounded like, and i`ll check my milage this next week just to see if any difference

Those gt takeoff's are nice, it will be interesting to see if duals make it any louder or quieter?? Definately post back! I still got the left muffler in my garage.
I just recetly dropped in a k&n filer like you have, and it seemed to give the exhaust an even better sound.

i have to admit, after driving now for a day, that single gt sounds great. coasting or driving easy, its not too loud at all, but hammer it and it comes alive. even just a semi agressive take off turned some heads. ive got to lay out the cash though to go dual just cause it looks too cool. i`m just guessing that dividing the amount of exaust into 2, wont be any or as loud, which will be just fine with me. i was hoping someone else who has done this would comment. i allready had that air filter so i wasnt able to notice like you did. i`m pretty sure the cai will add a little to the loudness too. thats next with the tuner. ah yes, dream dream dream

I just went dual with gt takeoffs and h pipe. IMO it's a tad louder but not too much. Sounds awesome though!

ahhhh, ok. where did you get your h pipe from? and did you get a kit with all the hangers? i`d like to order one asap

I had the shop make the h pipe. i got the hanger kit from american muscle. i got the lh over axle pipe from rockauto.

I picked up some gt take off over the axle pipes from PYPES at Englishtown swap meet. Pypes makes an x pipe for the convert as does Dynomax. rock valley auto is supposed to be the cheapest for the x pipe. I have all my parts for duals except the x pipe. But I have the single gt muffler on now for about a month picked up about 2mpg. and sounds better. I have an extra set of hangers ( enough for one side) i might want to sell
